In your written pitch, you will need to answer the following six questions.

1. What is your technology, product or service? Briefly describe what you sell and the need it fulfills.
2. What is your target market? Briefly state who buys this product or service and the size of the market.
3. How do you expect to make money? Describe the source(s) of revenue and how you will sell.
4. Who is your competition?
5. What is your competitive advantage? How can your company provide this product or service better than the competition?
6. Who is affiliated with your company? Share the background and accomplishments of you and your team. Explain how your background gives you credibility.

For those applicants that feel they need presentation assistance, we have organized a two-session presentation training.

What is FastPitch?
In three minutes entrepreneurs pitch their business or business concepts to a group of judges from the business and investment community.

There are very creative and interesting concepts from people in the Region and at FastPitch they can showcase those ideas and learn what it takes to advance them.

This year, the presentations are grouped into five categories:  Technology, Services, Consumer Products, “Green”, and Students.

What are the prizes?
The finalists win a cash prize as well as exposure to investors, business leaders, media and potential mentors.

This year, we would like to offer cash awards to the top three finalists:
First	$5,000.00
Second	$2,500.00
Third	$1,000.00

Sponsorships
We are offering Gold Sponsorships ($2500), Silver Sponsorships ($1000), Bronze Sponsorships ($500) and Contributor Sponsorships ($200) to fund the program. Sponsors will receive recognition on banners, advertising, Web site promotion, brochure/flyers, media (TV/radio), public relations, etc.
